What we collect, and what we do with it.

Short version: we collect what you type into a form on this site, we use it to get back to you, and we don’t sell it to anyone. The longer version is below, in plain language.

Who we are

DEM Logistics is a licensed freight brokerage in Portland, Oregon — MC# 1604914-B, DOT# 4172072. You can reach us at info@demlogix.com or (503) 877-8813.

What this site collects

Nothing at all unless you submit a form. There are four, and each one collects only what it shows you:

Request a quote

Equipment type, lane, commodity, your name, company, email and phone.

Carrier setup

MC number, your name, phone, email, equipment and home base.

Tell us what you run

MC and DOT numbers, your name, phone, email, equipment, home base, lanes and what you’re looking for.

Agent enquiry

Your name, phone, email, years in freight, where you are now, anything you write in the message box, and a resume if you choose to attach one. The resume is optional.

What we don’t collect

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers, and it stores nothing in your browser. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site.

One thing worth naming: the typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page sends your IP address to Google. We don’t receive that information and we can’t see it.

Where it goes

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this site, and delivered to us by email at info@demlogix.com. Netlify stores submissions on its own systems as part of that service. Nobody else receives them.

What we use it for

To answer you. A quote request gets a quote; a carrier setup gets you into our system; an agent enquiry gets a conversation. We may also use it to meet the recordkeeping obligations that apply to us as a licensed broker. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to respond to you and to keep the records our authority requires us to keep. If you’d like yours removed sooner, ask and we will.

Your information is yours

Email info@demlogix.com and you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll do it. You don’t need a reason and you don’t need to be a customer.

Children

This is a freight brokerage. The site isn’t directed at children and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we’ll change this page and update the date below.
